FLORA
Video Art Installation, Biennale
20 min. | 2017
A two-channel film installation about the largely unknown American sculptor Flora Mayo, who studied in Paris in the 1920s together with Giacometti, who was her lover for a short time. The film installation interweaves fictional and documentary material to shed light on the life and work of a failed artist who had previously only appeared as a footnote in art history.
